ASP.NET Core 1.0 RTM is coming!

Finally, after many windings down the road, Microsoft announced a more concrete schedule for .NET Core 1.0 and ASP.NET Core 1.0:

• .NET Core and ASP.NET Core 1.0 RC2: mid-May
• .NET Core and ASP.NET Core 1.0 RTM: late June

The whole tooling around the .NET CLI will be released in preview and RTMs with Visual Studio „15“. Hopefully, this isn’t a showstopper and ASP.NET Core 1.0 will work like a charm with the tooling preview as well, even in production.
